بررسی وتعیین مناسبترین تراکم کاشت ارقام امیدبخش سورگوم علوفه ای

In order to investigate the effect of plant density on ftesh and dry weight of promised forage sorghum varieties a field experiment was conducted as a factorial manged in a randomized complete block design with 3 replication over two years (2001-2002) period at Torogh station. Treatments were plant densities (16.7, 20.8, 28.7 and 41.7 plant m-2 ) and 4 promised forage sorghum varieties (KFS1, KFS2, KFS3, MFS1). Results showed that year had significant effect on dry matter, fresh weight and height 0n both two cutting. Varieties had significant effect on total fresh weight on first cutting KFS3 variety produced the highest fresh weight but on second cutting MFS1 produced more yield than other varieties and total dry matter were not changed significantly. Density had no significant effect on fresh and dry weight (P<0/05), but cutting had very significant effect on chy matter and fresh weight and first cutting produced highest yield.
