بررسی بیولوژی آفت چوبخوار بادام کوهی و شناسایی دشمنان طبیعی آن در استان کهگیلویه و بویراحمد

Mountain almond trees are wildly were distributed in various parts of Kohgiloyeh and Boyer province. There are several species of the mountain almonds including Amygdalus scopariaA. eburneaA. HussknechtiiA. elaeagnifolia, which almost of them grow exclusively in Iran with high economic importance. Xylophagous pests are the most important and destructive pests of mountain almond trees in this areas and studies on identification and distribution of xylophagous pest of the trees were conducted in the period 2000-2003. In this regard different setting of growing sites of mountain almond ecosystems such as cold climate (Yasuje and Sysakhat in north of province) and warm climate (Sough, Dehdasht, Cheram in south of the province) were visited and infested logs of host trees from various localities were brought and then adults or larvae of pest were collected for further studying. All of the collected specimens were identified and confirmed by authorized specialist in Plant Pests & Disease Ins and foreign specialist. Furthermore, by numerical counts of healthy, infested and dead trees, mortality and infested rate (%) was determined. Also Biological studies on the most important xylophagous identified pest ( X. matthiesseni ) were conducted in the period 2001-2004 in laboratory and field conditions. In these studies, laboratorial rearing of pest was started by releasing the adult in pairs in breeding cages for mating and study of fecundity, oviposition and longevity. Some of the most important of identified specimens were Xenopachys matthiesseni Reter. (Col.: Cerambycidae), Derolus mauritanicus L. (Col.: Cerambycidae) and Ospheranteria coerulescens Red. (Col.: Cerambycidae). Also the results indicated that some of the borers are widely distributed in kohgiluyeh and Boyer Ahmad. X. matthiesseni is important and was detected on several species of mountain almond trees in north (Yasuje and Sysakhat) and south (Sough, Dehdasht, Cheram) of province and infestation rate was about 80-100% on host trees. Further more O. coerulescens was the other important pest of the planted almond trees in Philgah area in south of province and infestation rate the pest was about 100%. Hower. X. matthiesseni is the most important and destructive pest of Almond trees in this province.
