In order to achivment of genetic purity F2, F3-Fn population and segregating generation were selected via single plant selection with high yield and desirable quantitative and qualitative traits. In this study 190, F2 populations of Karaj crosses and 131, F3-Fn generations that derived from selection of previous generations were evaluated by modified bulk method and modified pedigree bulk method in Ahwaz respectively. Selection started from spike appearance and was conducted twice till harvest date. The selected single plant from F2, F3 and F4 segregating populations were bulked with each other. Each F5 population planted in two rows with two-meter length and 20 Cm distance between rows. Ten-selected single plant from each F 5 population harvested seperatly and every one of selected single plant became source of F6 population for future generation.In order to using shuttle breeding method, 84 population that selected from 190, F2 population were planted in kelardasht station, but unfortunately anyone of population didn't produced enough seed due to high rain fall. So remained seeds of selected populations planted as F3 for maintanance of segregating generation cycle in Ahwaz. Chimical fertilizer applied on the basis of soil test and, soil and water department recommandation. Also recomanded herbicide applied for weed control. Finally 42 population 38 head and 10 lines were selected from 131 population of F3-Fn.
