Considering environmental influences on intensity distribution in receiver, the propagation properties of Gaussian laser beams through a complete optical path is studied. Based on the Collins integral, an analytical formula for intensity distribution along the complete optical path as well as on the receiver’s detector plane are derived. The effects of auto tracking subsystem and divergence of beam in exit plane of collimator on mentioned parameters are investigated. Using simulation and related calculations, the paper results are demonstrated by tables and graphs.
