خلاصه مقاله:
An improvement in an ant based algorithm for dynamic routing in all-optical wavelength-division- multiplexing (WDM) networks is proposed. The improvement is based on a new weighting function, considering simultaneously both blocking probability and load balance. Simulations are run for NSFNET physical topology The results obtained indicate a good compromise between load balance and blocking probability in comparison with the results based on the well known HABR algorithm.
