چکیده

Pedagogists and school leaders seek to improve student gains and in doing this they are often overloaded with well-intentioned programs and supports that promise to produce rapid results. The present study aims to investigate the relationship between the professional learning communities with teacher efficacy and job satisfaction among English teachers. The participants of the study were 90 male and female English teachers working in the language institutes in Shiraz and Safashahr, Iran. The Professional Learning Communities Assessment (PLCA) and The Teacher Measures Assessment Instrument were recruited to collect the data. Also, SPSS software v.21 was employed to analyze the research data. Using Pearson s correlation coefficient and multiple regression analysis, the results showed that there is a significant relationship between teachers professional learning and effectiveness and teachers job satisfaction. Also, the results showed that there is a positive relationship between professional learning community, teacher efficacy and teacher job satisfaction.
