Simultaneous preconcentration and determination of Co2+ and Cd2+ lead ions content using silver nanoparticle loaded on activated carbon modified by 2-(4- isopropylbenzylideneamino) thiophenol (IPBATP) flame atomic absorption spectrometry

چکیده

In this research, efficiency and performance of silver nano particle loaded on activated carbon (SNPC) adsorbent modified with for the removal and recovery of from wastewater has been compared. A sensitive and simple method for the simultaneous preconcentration of nutritionally important minerals such as Cu+2 and Pb+2 ion in real samples has been reported. The method is based on the formation of metal complexes by 2-(4-isopropylbenzylideneamino) thiophenol (IPBATP) silver nano particle loaded on activated carbon. The metals content on the complexes are then eluted using 5 mL 2 M HNO3, which are detected by FAAS. In this procedure, minerals such as Cu+2 and Pb+2 ion could be analyzed in one run by caring out their simultaneous separation and quan3fica3on. At op3mum condi3on the response are linear over concentra3on range of 0.02– 0.4 μgmL−1 for Pb2+ and 0.01– 0.35 μgmL−1 for Cu2+ion, While the detec3on limit for analytes was 1.9 and 2.9 for Cu2+and Pb2+ ion and The loading capacity was 0.54 and 0.45 mg g−1 for Cu2+and Pb2+ ion. The ability of method for repeatable recovery of trace ion are 98.9, and 98.8 with R.S.D. of 1.9 and 2.2 for Cu2+and Pb2+. The low detection limits of these elements in this technique make it a superior alternative to UV–vis and in several applications, also an alternative to ICP techniques. The method has been successfully applied for these metals content evaluation in some real samples including natural water, leaves of spinach and cow liver.
