خلاصه مقاله:
Although in majority of studies the battery pack of electric vehicles are considered as one large battery pack, series and parallel connecting of battery cells to achieve the needed high voltage and current is inevitable. Using charge equalizer circuits (CECs) is a key factor of controlling battery cells charging which causes their life-cycle enhancement. Merging different converters and reduction of converters’ count is another efficient way to improve entire system performance. In this paper an on-board bidirectional buck-boost integrated charger with charge equalizer circuits is introduced which can work as a buck-boost converter in both directions. Although it is a universal input converter, in this paper PV array is assumed as the input power source in order to emphasize its capability of working under wide range of input and output voltage. Different operation modes are considered for this converter which are analyzed and simulated in MATLAB/SIMULINK in detail and results confirm its features.
