چکیده

In this researh and optimization technique is used to update model parameters of an industrial hydro treating process as one of the main producing blocks of real time optimization . There were several steps to acieve model updating . At first , important parameters of process on the basis of unit operations and the effects of parameters on the process performance were selected. within the simulation results at the same conditions as the plant , at the next stage, objective funcition was introduced as the minimization of the differences between simulator predictions and experimental data . by minimizing the error between simulation results and process available measurements, the model parameters were estimated and consequently the process model was updated. results showed by on line estimation of model parameters , simulator can predict process performance correctly and the error between simulationd results and experimental data was minimized.
