چکیده

With Progress of technology and growth in population, the energy demand is highly increased in last few decades. Electrical energy plays an important role in the category of energy both in domestic and industrial consumptions. Solar power is one of the most utilizable energy resources as it is available almost all around the word. Solar power can be transformed into direct current (DC). However, most of electrical devices require alternating current (AC) to operate. Therefore, PV inverters are used to transform DC to AC. Same as any other device, they need to operate at their optimum point. Reliability in a system is the parameter which determines how much valid and accurate a system can operate. Studies have shown that the most failures in Photovoltaic (PV) systems are because of inverters. Hence evaluating and increasing the reliability of the inverter in PV system is highly essential. This paper proposes a simulation method to investigate the evaluation of reliability in PV inverters and compares them. Moreover, there are some suggestions for improve the reliability value in Inverters. The calculations and simulations are done in MATLAB and will confirm the following statements.
