چکیده مقاله:

In this study, CO2 equilibrium solubility in a 50% (in weight) amine aqueous solution including Methyldi ethanolamine (MDEA) and Diisopropylamine (DIPA) has been studied at four different temperatures of 133.2, 328.2, 343.3 and 35.2 K. The mass percentages of DIPA used in this paper were 1, 3 and 5%. Also, the mass concentrations of MDEA were 45, 47 and 49%. The activity fugacity coefficients method was used to predict two phases CO2 equilibrium solubility behavior in the amines solution. To calculate the gas and liquid phase properties, the Peng Robinson equation of state and Henry s law were used, respectively. The results revealed that the γ-φ model accurately predicted CO2 equilibrium solubility compared to the Deshmukh and Mather model. The experimental data were gathered from the literature. The modeling results also showed that the mean absolute deviation between the γ-φ model in this study and the experimental data was 12.193%. Whilst the overall deviation of the Deshmukh-Mather method from the experimental methods was about 13.71%.
