By Increase requirement to low cost and high quality building materials, and also existence of pure gypsum resources in Iran, it is inevitable to research about Extrusion of gypsum based building materials (GBBM). In critical situation of energy and environment in the world, gypsum is more suitable athwart Portland cement and clay as building materials. The main object of the present paper is plasticity improvement of a gypsum based Nanocomposite material (GBNM) paste for extrusion and forming a slab shape block with proper mechanical properties. The effect of a number of chemical additives, polypropylene reinforcement fibers and especially Nanoclay processing filler on the GBNM paste extrude ability, bending strength and compressive strength of final product investigate and also discusses the application of the stepwise optimization method for the evaluation of the GBNM composition for extrusion.
