چکیده مقاله:

Background: Welding has various harmful chemical agents on human health.. The purpose of this research is the evaluation of the MEASE model by comparing its estimated data with inhalation exposure measured data in metal fume of two welding types. Methods: Measured data from sampling of welding fumes conducted in the a steel industry. The eight metals in two welding processes were evaluated.were compared with measurement data of metal fumes with sampling instrument method by estimating Spearman correlation coefficients for each metal and each welding type. Results: In the present study, For the 8 metals, the maximum of mean of measured metals concentration related to iron metal at SMAW-E737 welding (2375μg/m3) and the minimum of mean of measured metals concentration related to copper metal at SMAW-E7018 welding (4 μg/m3). Results showed highly significant positive correlation between Measured Values with Estimated Value for most of metals.Discussion: MEASE structure is clear and Simple, requires fewer data. Recognition the correct of scenario has a severe impact on the MEASE estimates. If the model well answered, it can be a replacement for hard and dangerous Laboratory methods.
