خلاصه مقاله:
This study examines the relation between Cultural intelligence (CQ) and intent to remain in diversity teams. We expect direct effects of CQ on members’ intention to stay in the team, as well as a moderating effect of demographic features on the intent to remain. Data are collected from 169 team managers in the Iranian petrochemical industry, and the results indicate that CQ has a direct, positive effect on intent to remain, and age, gender and work experience moderate the relationship between this constructs. The paper also suggests cultural intelligence can be recognized as a critical factor success in the multicultural team; thus, teams that act in global contexts must consider CQ abilities in their human resource policies. Theoretical and practical implications are discussed.
