Background and Aim : Burn injury is one of the most common trauma in children that cause a long period of hospitalization for them.one kind of burn injury in children is electrical burn that occur infrequently but result some disabilities like:lung injury,mouth injury.so this study is aimed to describe the factors that affect on electrical burn injury in children. Methods : This systematic review study obtained by research in search engines like:google scholar,Elsevier,science direct,google,Magiran,Elmnet.my keywords are:burn,burn in children,electrical burn.in this study we use descriptive and analytic articles. Results : The results of different studies show that electrical burn injury is more common in boys than in girls ranging from 4-16/6 years old and the age of children is an etiology in electrical burn injury.there is a positive relationship between electrical burn injury in children and the amount of information they have about it.the study shows that electrical burn injury commonly occurs in living room.also most of electrical burn injury occur as a result of use of faulty electrical cord and appliances. Conclusion : Due to the relationship between education and electrical burn injury we must have programs for teaching children at schools also we must show them the correct use of electrical cord and appliances specially the electrical appliances in the living room.
