خلاصه مقاله:
In this paper, to the authors knowledge, the LMV structure in a receiver is proposed for Internet of Things (IoT) applications. This structure includes LNA, Mixer and VCO which have been merged and has low power consumption. In this structure, we have used a Class D oscillator due to the capability of large oscillation amplitude besides a small power supply. In this work, by using a Class D oscillator, we were able to reduce the total power consumption of the LMV structure by 66% compared to the case where the oscillator structure is complementary. We also show that in addition to dramatically reducing of the receiver power consumption, conversion gain also improves by 2 dB, while the phase noise (PN) and noise figure (NF) are almost constant compared to the conventional structure.
