چکیده مقاله:
Considering its significant role, simulation of sweetening units has been increasingly analyzed during last decade. So, comprehensive studies should be made on such simulations in order to enhance the absorption level of CO2 contaminations. Simulation of sweetening unit of hydrogen production unit at Tehran Oil Refinery in which CO2 contaminations are included in the input gas flow is the main objective of the present study. HYSYS has been utilized here as the software platform and the Kent-Isenberg approach is used as the thermodynamic model. The simulation has been carried out based on unit PFD and process description. Considering observed data conformity, the existing simulation could be employed to enhance the performance level of the unit.
