چکیده مقاله:

The aim of this study is to investigate and specify the problems Iranian translation students encounter in interpreting utterances from Arabic into Persian. Pronouns as one of the most frequent categories in everyday written and spoken language have been chosen and our data are collected from Arabic texts which have been translated into Persian. This study is a comparative one and the data are analyzed descriptively. The main and crucial point originates from the referring expression to gender (masculine and feminine) in translation. The Role of the constituents can be the most important one in verifying translation texts in both languages, Source language (Arabic) Target Language (Persian). We can identify that pronouns are generally inflected for numbers and thus have distinct singular and plural agreement forms in both Languages. Findings indicate that most of interpretations include these distinctive numbers and agreements, which show the permanent retention of errors in the works.
